easyHotel (EZH)
easyHotel is an international owner, developer, operator and franchisor of branded hotels, focused on the "super budget" segment. Following the successful opening of their owned hotel in Old Street, easyHotel has moved its strategy towards investment in freehold owned asset investments. A successful IPO last June raised £24m of investment capital, and recent full year results showed revenues rising by 34% with occupancy ahead of expectations.
Anite (AIE)
Since the disposal of their non-core travel business, Anite are now a pure play wireless testing business. The travel disposal has given them the firepower to make acquisitions of complementary products in existing and adjacent markets. They completed the first significant one of these, Xceed, last October paying $30m for a business which is expected to be earnings enhancing in the current year. Their half year results in December showed encouraging momentum.
Flowgroup (FLOW)
Flowgroup is set to become the leading supplier of micro combined heat and power (mCHP) boilers. The first boilers came off the production line in November and sales will commence from mid January 2015. The technology is patent protected, environmentally friendly and helps the National Grid satisfy the country's peak electricity demand. Most importantly the boiler typically saves a 4-5 bedroom house up to £500 pa on its fuel bills. They will be discussing the rapid changes the business will experience in the next 12 months.
